Subject: Supplementary Information – Boxing South Africa Licensed Practitioners 2026/2027

Boxing South Africa hereby issues this addendum to provide bidders with supplementary information regarding the number and categories of licensed practitioners for the 2026/2027 licensing period. This information is provided to assist bidders in the preparation of appropriate insurance proposals, benefit structures, pricing and actuarial calculations in response to the RFP.

1. Licensed Practitioners 2026/2027

As at the 2026/2027 licensing period, Boxing South Africa has a total of 1,327 licensed practitioners, comprising the following categories:

• Boxers: 803
• Managers: 149
• Trainers: 112
• Promoters: 99
• Ring Officials: 86
• Seconds: 46
• Ring Announcers: 22
• Matchmakers: 10

Total Licensed Practitioners: 1,327

2. Provincial Distribution

The licensed practitioners are distributed across the provinces as follows:

• Eastern Cape: 392
• Gauteng: 357
• KwaZulu-Natal: 184
• Western Cape: 176
• Limpopo: 68
• Mpumalanga: 58
• Free State: 53
• North West: 29
• Northern Cape: 10

3. Purpose of the Supplementary Information

The above information must be taken into consideration by bidders when developing their proposed insurance structure, premium calculations, administration model and associated pricing.

The RFP requires the successful bidder to design an appropriate insurance solution covering Boxing South Africa licensees and accredited officials in accordance with the scope, specifications and benefit requirements contained in the original RFP.

4. Closing Date and Submission Requirements

• There is no amendment to the closing date for submission of proposals.
• The closing date remains 01 October 2026 at 16h00.
• All other terms, conditions, specifications, mandatory requirements and submission requirements contained in the original RFP remain unchanged.
• This addendum must be read together with the original RFP documentation.
