Bongani ‘King Killer’ Fule won by a split decision against Jeff ‘911’ Magagane at what was a keenly contested ten rounder at Guild Theatre in East London on Sunday evening.
The bout between Fule and Magagane was the main bout in the tournament put together by KayB Boxing Promotions. Makhanda’s very own Fule who made his professional debut in March 2023 had his biggest challenge yet maintained his 100% record, and now is in line to challenge South African Featherweight champion, Lindelani Sibisi.
Magagane, a former South African featherweight champion gave his all and was not disgraced in front of a packed Guild Theatre. He asked more questions of Fule and should be motivated to go again. He went to East London seeking redemption following his loss to Zolisa Batyi earlier this year.
With Chief Operations Officer, Mr Mandla Ntlanganiso in attendance, the main supporting act saw Lonwabo Sizani brushing aside Aphiwe Magobhiyane via KO in the fourth round, two minutes, and three seconds.

Sandton, Johannesburg
South African Kaine Fourie lost to Argentinian, Claudia Daneff via TKO in round two to be crowned the new IBO intercontinental champion at The Galleria, Sandton on Saturday, 01 November 2025.
The bout between Fourie and Daneff headlined the tournament dubbed ‘Sandton Mayhem’ by Acquilla Boxing Promotions. Fourie affectionately known as ‘K9’ had the backing of the packed arena, and the confidence backed by his latest results. The orthodox had won his previous two fights against Oumpie Sibeko and Sifiso Hlongwane in June and August earlier this year. He had lost only one fight in fifteen since turning professional in December 2020.
In Daneff he faced an experienced campaigner with no less than twenty-seven bouts, and it was experience that emerged victorious on the night as Daneff won via TKO in round two to be crown new IBO lightweight intercontinental champion.
The main supporting bout saw unbeaten Lindokuhle Khuzwayo keeping his record intact as he sent the Nigerian, Rilwal Lawal packing for the IBO All Africa featherweight title. Khuzwayo was not intimidated by the fact that his opponent was more experienced winning the bout via TKO in round two.

Mxolisi Lahliwe vs. Tshegofatso Matlala. Lahliwe won via unanimous points decision.
Eshowe, KwaZulu/Natal Njabulo Buthelezi claimed the KZN title via a devastating knockout victory over Manelisi Ndlovu in the 10th round at a thrilling night of boxing Eshowe Town Hall on Friday, 31 October 2025.
The Tap Tap Makhathini sixth boxing series, co-promoted by Makhathini’s sonCebisa Xulu and Nomvelo Magcaba of Mvelo Boxing Promotions, supported by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, honoured the legendary South African and Eshowe born boxing legend, Tap Tap Makhathini, doing so by displaying emerging and exciting boxing talent in the province.
The highly anticipated South African Super Middleweight women’s bout between Wendy Gcadu and Nobengazi Booth was cancelled due to medical advice.
