Ms. Karabo Tshabuse

Admitted attorney with keen interest in Sports Law, Employment Law and Litigation. In 2009 she became the first female FIFA recognized Players’ Agent in Africa and has been representing football players and clubs ever since appearing on behalf of clients in the National Soccer League’s Dispute Resolution Chamber. She has been recognized in the Mail & Guardian list of 200 Young South Africans of 2013, BBC’s 100 Women Series of 2015, Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year Award 2016 in the Business category.

Mr. Mandla Tshabalala

Founder and Managing Director of PM Tshabalala Inc. Mandla and was a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the South African Football Association for more than 7 years. Former Chairman of the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the South African Football Association where he was a member for more than 5 years. Has acted for various clients before the National Soccer League Disciplinary Committee and Dispute Resolution Chamber.

Mr. Evert De Bruyn

Evert De Bruyn heads up De Bruyn Attorneys founded in 2016. He specialises in sports and entertainment law and his knowledge and understading of these has made him the South African front runner for the legalities relating to complete athlete and talent agreements in traditional sports as well as South African Esports.

Ms. Corinne Berg

Legal Associate at Cresco Group as well as a tribunal member of the South African Institute of Drug-free Sport (SAIDS). She is also an arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration for Sport and a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the South African Premier Soccer League. She has also served as a member of the High-Performance Commission of the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC).

Prof. Rian Cloete

Law professor at the University of Pretoria, serves on the Executive Committee of the Sports Law Association of South Africa and is a member of the Advisory Board of the International Sports Law Journal. He is the co-author and managing editor of the book entitled Introduction to Sports Law in South Africa.

Mr. Aubrey Diswai

Privately practice as an Attorney in Johannesburg and specializes in corporate and commercial law.

Has presided over negotiations and conclusion of a variety of agreements in preparation for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2010 FIFA World Cup with FIFA, FIFA LOC, Rustenburg Local Municipality, North West Provincial Government and National Government.

Adv. Pumzo Mbana

Practices as an advocate of the High Court. For more than a decade he practiced as an attorney of the High Court.

Has heard and Chaired on BSA disciplinary matters against two Promoters in 2018.

Ms. Palesa Maseko

Director at Fairbridges Wertheim Becker, specializing in commercial litigation, sports law and entertainment law.
